tATu-world : tout sur les monde des t.A.T.u. !

Yulia la brune et Lena la rousse se croisent pour la première fois dans les couloirs d'une école de musique à Moscou. L'une est spécialisée en chant, l'autre opte pour le piano. En 1997, elles intègrent la même chorale, Neposedi, dont Yulia sera exclue pour «propositions indécentes» envers ses petites camarades. Il faudra attendre alors trois années entières pour que le duo se retrouve à nouveau. Nous sommes au casting du groupe Taty, bientôt rebaptisé t.A.T.u.

Retenues par le producteur Ivan Shapovalov, les deux adolescentes – alors âgées de 15 et 16 ans – enregistrent un premier single "Ya Shosla S Uma" ("J''ai perdu l'esprit"). Le clip fera scandale en Russie. Le motif : un baiser fougueux entre Yulia et Lena, baiser qui fera le tour du monde. En moins d'un an, t.A.T.u signe un second single "Nas Ne Dagonyat" ("Ne pas nous laisser") et l'album "200 po Vstrecnoy" (Rencontre à 200 km/h), écoulé à plus d'1,5 millions d'exemplaires rien que dans leur pays.

Fort de ce succès, Shapovalov décide de «mondialiser» son groupe et commercialise en 2002 une version anglaise de "200 po Vstrecnoy". L'album devient "200 Km/h In The Wrong Lane" (dans lequel "Ya Shosla S Uma" se traduit par "All The Things She Said" et "Nas Ne Dagonyat" par "Not Gonna Get Us"). Mais après une tournée mondiale et quelques apparitions dans des shows de télé-réalité, le phénomène sexy t.A.T.u s'essouffle. Au printemps 2004, le groupe se sépare de son manager et dément son homosexualité alors que Yulia est enceinte. Suit une traversée du désert qui s'achève en septembre 2005 avec la sortie du single All About Us.

L'album "Dangerous and moving" sort en octobre 2005, il ne rencontre pas le même succès que "200 Km/h In The Wrong Lane" .

Le premier tube international du groupe : All the things she said . Il est resté classé très longtemps au top 10 français et international .
Ce titre est sorti dans les bacs le 10 décembre 2002 .

Tout commence par un orage imperturbable et une pluie violente s'abattant sur la Russie. Des personnes abritées sous leur parapluies attendent devant un grillage surmonté de barbelés. Derrière ce grillage, deux jeunes lycéennes (habillées en jupe écossaises, en cravate et haut blanc) commence à chanter sous une pluie toujours aussi rude...
Elles rient, se tiennent la main, et sont à la fois triste...
Les regard des passants sont pleins de mépris, et ils commencent à discuter entre eux.

Elles continuent à chanter ignorant les regards. Les paroles très poignantes, affichent leur amour mutuel, pourtant si difficile a la vue des gens.
